Canada Day by the Bay

Everyone’s Canadian on Canada Day and what better way to celebrate Canada’s birthday than at the beach!  On July 1, head to White Rock Beach for a day full of fun, free, family activities at Canada Day by the Bay. The festivities kick off at noon with the Opening Ceremonies – yes there will be cake – and the party carries on through nightfall when a fabulous fireworks display lights up the sky.

Be sure to check out the East Beach Kids Zone from 10:00am – 4:00pm for Bouncy Castles, Sea Star Face Painting, Korki the Clown, Sand Art, Giggle Booth Photos, White Rock Fire Dept Charity BBQ, and Team T&J Children’s Entertainers.

And don’t miss the Family Sandcastle Competition at 12noon sharp! Bring your creativity and sand building tools. Small bucket and shovel provided to registrants (registration begins at 10am).
