The Downtown Surrey BIA Is hosting their 2nd annual Gingerbread Village. Gingerbread Village is a charity event that adds creative fun to the holidays and raises money for the Surrey Christmas Bureau. Shoppers, locals, and gingerbread enthusiasts will have a chance to admire various Surrey-inspired gingerbread creations and can even vote for their favourites.

The creations will be on display at Central City Shopping Centre from December 8th until 16th near the Winners and can be viewed during mall hours. Entries will have a chance to win cash prizes, including a $500 People’s Choice Award which will be announced via social media. The people’s choice award will be chosen by the public, and all entries are eligible to win. Make a cash donation anytime during Gingerbread Village to vote for your favourite, and the creation that raises the most money will win! The more you donate, the better chance your favourite will take home the coveted title. All donations raised will go toward the Surrey Christmas Bureau to help them support low-income families during the holidays.
